"Ji" means that rivers flow against rocks, and "Jin" means the place to cross the water. In the Tang Dynasty, shijijin changed its name to "Lian village", which has been used until today. This makes us feel very gratified, because it is related to Xue Lingzhi, the first Jinshi in Fujian. Xue Lingzhi was the teacher of Tang suzong. It's a glorious thing to be able to get the Royal gift from the imperial court, no matter its family or village. Not to mention, the village name is directly adorned with the word "Lian", which makes people today proud, like registering a famous brand trademark.



Sure enough, after the Tang and Song Dynasties, especially after the Song Dynasty moved southward, there were celebrities in the Lian village generation, especially the Chen family. It was amazing that there was a brilliant School of five scholars and three generations.

From the transformation of the village name of shijijin to the clansmen who lived in the village for more than a hundred years, adhering to the integrity and unique ideas, they cultivated a large number of officials. Obviously, such a family has its own advantages, which makes the ancient village covered with a mysterious veil.



Of course, such official culture phenomenon is also limited to one of the families, which has regional constraints. Looking at the Jinshi card on the ancestral hall, it is difficult to find more family names to illustrate the universality of ancient officials. This immediately reminds us of the sentence "one loss, one prosperity", shijijin may be no exception.



As a land and water hub, it must also be the center where politics and culture are most rapidly affected. Culture and politics belong to the ideology of the upper class, and they are closely interlinked.



After the Song Dynasty moved south, the capital was in Lin'an, which is today's Hangzhou, while the move from east Fujian to Hangzhou was still close in the whole Southern Song Dynasty, and the political and cultural dynamics of the imperial court soon radiated to East Fujian.



In today's words, the people of shijijin are well informed, and their location is quite favorable. What's more, Zhu Xi, a master of agency studies, put his footprints in Changxi, from Jianou, Wuyi to Yongjia, Wenzhou. Along the way, he sowed scientific examination culture, brought out a large number of disciples, and also promoted them to embark on the path of politics.



In the special historical period, shijijin people seized the opportunity and enjoyed a good cultural destiny. This should be the honor of Yamakawa and the honor of Liancun people.



In front of shijijin, there is a vast river called musai river.

Shijijin is advantaged by musai river. It is born in spring and grows in summer, harvested in autumn and stored in winter. It is born in accordance with the four seasons, so that it is bright and clean, and takes it easy.



Built along the river bank of musai Creek is an ancient castle, built around the village. According to relevant documents, most of the coastal castles in Fujian are fortifications built by Zhou Dexing and Qi Jiguang to resist Japanese invaders in Fujian. They were built between Jiajing and Wanli of the Ming Dynasty and have a history of fourorfive years so far. It can be seen that the original function of the ancient castle is still a military defense facility, which plays a role in resisting foreign invasion, resisting banditry, and protecting the safety of life and property.



Shijijin, once rich, is on the wind of the river and sea, which is a great temptation for Japanese pirates. In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, the coastal Japanese bandits gradually rose, and the official civilization of ancient shijijin was impacted. It was no longer the imperial examination, but a battle of life and death. In this way, the way of life and thinking of shijijin people changed, forcing some taxis to put down their pen and ink, go out of their study, take up arms, and fight to defend their homes.



The well preserved ancient city wall echoed in the sound of streams. The mossy walls and the towering ancient city gate are covered with vicissitudes and thick. We paced slowly next to the ancient passage of the city wall, which was flush with the river, as if we had entered an ancient time. Mountains and rivers, wind and rain wash, constantly changing the original appearance; The terrain, scenery and four seasons are different in modern and ancient times.
